My name is Jason Rumbaugh and I am a husband, father, and Veteran. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I served in the 82nd Engineer Battalion from 2000 until 2006. In that time I was deployed to both Kosovo and Iraq. In Kosovo I was a team leader and conducted guard duty and some presence patrols. In Iraq I was a squad leader for most of the deployment and also a 50cal gunner. I was awarded the purple heart for wounds received in August of 2004. I was honorably discharged in 2006.

Fortunate to be currently in a place where I can focus on art and family.

I was deployed to Iraq with Rudy Vaca, Rey's brother, in 2004. Although we never formally met, Rudy later became my Lieutenant in Bravo company, 1st Platoon. Keeping in contact throughout the years I later ran into his brother, Rey thru social media and was commissioned for a ink portrait illustration. We have been working on projects together since.
